Nestled at the convergence of Gramercy Park, Park Avenue South, and Union Square, L'Express is a Lyonnaise bouchon, a culinary sanctuary where classic bistro dishes take center stage in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. For over a quarter-century, our doors have been open, weaving a tale of loyalty, dedication, and timeless flavors that have earned us the trust of our cherished regulars.

OUR TEAM

L'Express is the beating heart of Chef Driven Hospitality, restaurateur Simon Oren's collection of beloved New York restaurants. 

The kitchen is led by Executive Chef, Amitzur Mor, who brings an innovative touch to classic French cooking. Trained at Tadmor Culinary School in Israel, Chef Mor has been working in kitchens since he was 13, honing his skills in 3 and 4-star restaurants from Gramercy Tavern to Payard. 

In the dining room is General Manager, Eylem Tuncer, a familiar face to L'Express' long-standing loyal guests. Eylem's career has taken him from Istanbul to London, and New York, with experience spanning comedy clubs, hotels and restaurants.
